CandleFocus Solana Foundation Offers $275K to Innovators for a Historical Verification Tool

The Solana Foundation has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop the Solana Historical State Verification Tool, with a funding of up to $275,000. The objective of this project is to construct a reliable, open-source system that can validate any state transition since the founding of the Solana Mainnet. The deadline for project development applications is August 31 next year. The proposed solution includes creating a standalone command-line interface (CLI) tool for block and epoch verification, supporting multiple data archive formats, and featuring transaction replay capabilities. The RFP also outlines specific deliverables, including detailed mapping of block and epoch data, user-friendly documentation, comprehensive testing, and a two-year management plan. The project aims to enhance data integrity and reliability on the Solana blockchain, encouraging creativity and open-source development in the Solana community.
