Stellar (XLM) has announced a partnership with Mastercard to integrate the company's Crypto Identity Credential solution with the Stellar network. The partnership aims to enable secure and compliant use cases for crypto wallet providers such as Mercado Bitcoin and Wirex. Initially, the focus will be on remittances and peer-to-peer transfers. The integration is expected to make blockchain technology more accessible and appealing to a broader audience and increase adoption of blockchain technology. Following the announcement, the price of XLM briefly rose and then fell.
