Known as the silver lining to Bitcoin gold, Litecoin is popular for faster transactions and lower fees, making it ideal for everyday payments and microtransactions. With nearly 245 million transactions processed over the years, its relevance and acceptance continue to grow. This can be attributed to improvements in security, transaction speed, and the integration of privacy features like MimbleWimble. Litecoin's interoperability with multiple platforms and payment processors has also helped it maintain its leading position in the cryptocurrency market.
