Crypto wallets connected to the Trump family-supported World Liberty Financial project made significant purchases of major tokens, including $10 million in ether (ETH), $1 million in aave (AAVE), and $1 million in Chainlink's LINK tokens, causing prices to surge. World Liberty Financial is a platform where users can borrow and lend cryptocurrencies and transact with stablecoins, with President-elect Donald Trump acting as the "chief crypto advocate" of the project. The purchases are speculated to be part of a larger plan for the project, and World Liberty Financial also uses Chainlink's services for better integration with the wider crypto ecosystem. The platform's DAO has proposed deploying a World Liberty Financial Aave v3 instance to attract first-time users and share revenues with liquidity providers.
