Bitcoin Safe From Quantum Computers, Says Craig Wright

The news of Google developing a quantum chip called Willow that can solve complex problems much faster than traditional supercomputers has raised concerns in the cryptocurrency market. It is believed that quantum computers could potentially hack into blockchains and crypto wallets, compromising their security. This news led to the liquidation of at least $2 billion in open positions of crypto traders. However, Craig Wright, who claims to be the creator of Bitcoin, dismissed the threat, stating that quantum computers do not exist and even if they did, they cannot break the hash problem. Nevertheless, there is an ongoing debate about the security of private keys in the face of potential advancements in quantum computing technology.
