a16z-backed lending crypto protocol Compound Finance unveils $1m in bug bounty

Cryptocurrency lending protocol Compound Finance has partnered with Immunefi to launch a bug bounty program worth up to $1 million. The program aims to identify and address any vulnerabilities within Compound's protocol, with rewards varying based on the severity of the bug discovered. The rewards will be denominated in USD but paid in COMP tokens, maintaining Compound's commitment to a secure and transparent DeFi ecosystem. Compound Finance, founded in 2017, allows users to borrow and lend cryptocurrencies and has received backing from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital. The bug bounty program comes after a similar exploit in the Onyx Protocol, a fork of Compound.
