Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, is questioning why Vitalik Buterin has not shown support for Polygon PoS, a network that has significantly contributed to Ethereum adoption. Despite Polygon PoS being one of Ethereum's most important extensions, Sandeep feels that the Ethereum community does not recognize its value. Polygon PoS reduces transaction fees and congestion on Ethereum by processing transactions on its sidechain before finalizing them on Ethereum. It is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), attracting numerous developers to the network. Sandeep's frustration stems from Vitalik's apparent favoritism towards Solana, a competing blockchain. While Vitalik praises Solana's resilience, he criticizes its centralization and prioritization of speed and efficiency over decentralization. Sandeep believes that the Ethereum community has a bias towards abstract principles, such as decentralization definitions.
