Argentine President Javier Milei expressed his support for the separation of cryptocurrency and state, stating that private cryptocurrencies should remain in the hands of private parties and not be taken over by state nations. He criticized the establishment of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and emphasized the empowering traits of cryptocurrencies as an alternative to state currencies. Milei's statements align with his libertarian vision of reducing the influence of the state and advocating for deregulation and privatization. He also mentioned that his state reduction policies, known as the Chainsaw model, could be implemented in the US with the potential involvement of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
