The scammers urged users to buy these tokens, causing a brief price surge. However, the attackers soon liquidated their holdings, leading to a significant drop in the tokens' prices. The Dogwifhat development team swiftly reclaimed access to the account and removed all traces of the scam. This incident highlights the need for robust security measures to protect crypto projects and their communities from such scams.
