Institutional investors and wealth managers predict a significant increase in the launch of digital asset funds in the next 12 months, according to research by Nickel Digital Asset Management. Around 70% of those surveyed anticipate a rise in digital asset fund launches, with 14% expecting dramatic growth. Additionally, 92% of respondents predict that traditional financial institutions will enter the sector by launching their own funds. This trend is being driven in part by the success of BlackRock's BUIDL fund, which has achieved $500 million in assets under management and is predicted to reach $10 billion by 2025. This growing trend is expected to transform the landscape for digital assets.
