Venture capitalist Ben Horowitz, who previously supported former President Donald Trump, is now planning to make a significant donation to Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign. Horowitz and his business partner, Marc Andreessen, previously made a case for Trump as the best bet for the tech industry, including cryptocurrency. However, Horowitz had a change of heart after Harris entered the race. He has known Harris for over a decade and developed a friendship, and they have had encouraging conversations about her tech policies. Horowitz criticized the Biden administration's tech policies as destructive, particularly in areas like crypto and blockchain. Other venture capitalists, including Reid Hoffman, Ron Conway, and Mark Cuban, have also announced support for Harris, while Elon Musk, Shaun Maguire, and the Winklevoss twins remain supporters of Trump.
