Cleanspark, a publicly traded bitcoin mining company, has announced that it has reached an operational hashrate of 30 exahash per second (EH/s) and aims to surpass 37 EH/s by the end of 2024. The company's hashrate has increased by 200% since October 2023, driven by organic growth and acquisitions. Cleanspark has improved efficiency and increased the number of operational machines, allowing it to generate more computing power while consuming less energy. The company also plans to acquire Griid Infrastructure to further increase its hashrate. Cleanspark CEO Zach Bradford credited the company's rapid scaling and capital efficiency for its strong performance in 2024. Additionally, Cleanspark has grown its bitcoin treasury to over 8,049 BTC and operates across multiple U.S. states. However, publicly traded bitcoin mining companies, including Cleanspark, experienced declines in their share prices.
