Sid Powell, co-founder and CEO of Maple Finance, believes that Bitcoin could reach a price range of $180,000 to $200,000 by the end of 2025. Powell cited factors such as institutional adoption and the expected impact of Bitcoin ETFs as potential drivers of this rally. He compared the launch of Bitcoin ETFs to the launch of gold ETFs, which saw significant inflows in subsequent years. Powell also mentioned the possibility of a Bitcoin strategic reserve being established in the United States, which could further drive institutional interest. Despite his bullish forecast, Powell acknowledged the cyclical nature of the cryptocurrency market. However, he suggested that extreme declines seen in past cycles are less likely in 2025 due to the offsetting effect of institutional inflows.
