Phantom, a multi-chain crypto wallet provider, received criticism and investor losses after their social interaction with Ace of AI led to confusion. Ace of AI announced a partnership with Phantom, which caused a surge in the price of their token. However, Phantom later clarified that there was no actual partnership or endorsement, leading to a significant drop in ACE's value. Users confronted Phantom and claimed to have been misled, resulting in financial losses.
