Altcoin bull market is not over, says analyst

The cryptocurrency market in 2024 saw an unpredictable trajectory, with an expected 'Uptober' not materializing. However, Donald Trump's victory in the presidential elections sparked a bull run in November. Bitcoin reached a new all-time high price of $108,135, but in mid-December it faced a roadblock and struggled to break past $100,000 again. Altcoins also saw a decrease in bullish momentum, partly due to profit-taking and the Federal Reserve's decision to have fewer rate cuts in 2025. Despite the pessimistic sentiment, renowned analyst Michaël van de Poppe believes that the altcoin bull market is not over, highlighting macroeconomic catalysts and Trump's intent to lower interest rates as factors that could renew bullish sentiment.
