BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) has had a successful first year, with record inflows and asset accumulation driven by retail investors. However, Bitcoin adoption among institutional and wealth advisory clients is still in its early stages. BlackRock is now focused on attracting these segments while acknowledging the recent outflows from ETFs. The firm sees great potential in asset advisory and institutional segments, with increasing momentum in approvals allowing advisors to incorporate Bitcoin into client portfolios.
