Here’s How Much Higher XRP Needs to Go to Become the 2nd Largest Crypto as It Surges Past $3

The XRP price has surged to a new yearly peak of $3.10 and is up 23% in the week. This has led to discussions about XRP potentially surpassing Ethereum and becoming the second-largest cryptocurrency. AI research platform Sistine Research initially stated that XRP would need to reach $4 to overtake Ethereum and around $19 to surpass Bitcoin. However, market analyst CryptoInsightUK pointed out that this calculation considered XRP's fully diluted valuation and that using the circulating supply, XRP would need to rise to around $6.6 to flip Ethereum. XRP's circulating supply is currently at 57.5 billion. Several market analysts believe XRP reaching this price is attainable, and the cryptocurrency has already outperformed Bitcoin and Ethereum in recent months.
