Japanese company Metaplanet Inc. has announced its debut in the United States market, with its shares set to trade on the OTCQX from December 19, 2024. Metaplanet has gained a strong reputation in the crypto industry through its Bitcoin strategy, which has seen the company accumulate over 1,142 BTCs. The company's stock has experienced a significant rally this year, with a year-to-date return of 2,068%. The addition of Bitcoin treasury operations positions Metaplanet to attract more investors. The company's Bitcoin accumulation has also strengthened the Asian Bitcoin market, with potential for more countries to follow suit. The ongoing mainstream adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors has contributed to the recent rally in its price.
