As Bitcoin struggles to surpass its all-time high and remains below $100,000, attention is shifting to altcoins. VanEck analysts believe that an "altcoin season" has begun and that the current market conditions favor altcoins over Bitcoin. Although altcoins initially dropped with Bitcoin, many investors and analysts anticipate an altcoin rally to occur soon. The Altcoin Season Index and CoinMarketCap's calculations both indicate strong altcoin performance. Crypto analyst Captain Faibik also confirms the start of the altcoin season through technical analysis. With the rising interest in decentralized finance, gaming, and NFTs, the altcoin market is poised for a rally.
