Chinese crypto leaders have come to the support of Bybit, the exchange that recently suffered a massive hack resulting in the loss of $1.5 billion worth of ETH. Huobi's co-founder Du Jun and the co-founders of Conflux and Mask Network have deposited Ethereum into the exchange to increase its liquidity. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou expressed gratitude for the support and mentioned several companies, including Tether and Galaxy, that helped them during this critical time. Bitget CEO Gracy reassured the market that customer funds remain safe and that the stolen amount is equivalent to Bybit's annual profit. The hackers are actively laundering funds using various addresses, exchanging ETH for BTC and other assets. Currently, the hackers hold 461,491 ETH, while the total amount stolen from Bybit is 499,395 ETH.
