Three British men have been arrested in Spain in connection to the kidnapping of a UK cryptocurrency broker. The kidnappers initially demanded £25,000 ransom and forced the broker to give them access to his crypto wallet. However, the broker managed to outsmart them by pretending to be on a phone call with a customer and only giving them half of the access code. He then called for help, leading the Spanish police to locate the kidnappers' apartment. During the arrest, one of the kidnappers jumped from a balcony and broke his ankles. Authorities found cash, weapons, and drugs during a search of the apartment. The three men have been remanded in prison and face charges of kidnap, wounding, membership of a criminal organization, unlawful weapons possession, and drug trafficking.
