Bitcoin mining firms Riot Platforms and Bitfarms have reached a settlement agreement, ending Riot's acquisition bid for Bitfarms. As part of the agreement, Riot Platforms has withdrawn its request for a special shareholder meeting and will maintain its 19.9% ownership stake in Bitfarms. Andrés Finkielsztain has resigned from Bitfarms' Board of Directors, while Amy Freedman has been appointed to the board and various committees.
