Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3, a Bitcoin-focused company, has voiced his belief that the US government's future cryptocurrency stockpile should only include Bitcoin and not any other cryptocurrencies. Mow specifically criticized Ripple and its affiliated cryptocurrency XRP, adding fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding the inclusion of altcoins in the US strategic crypto reserve. Mow argued that including any other cryptocurrency would essentially be giving taxpayer money to companies and individuals that have created their own tokens. Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, also expressed a similar opinion, stating that only Bitcoin should be included in the reserve.
