Bitdeer Technologies, a cryptocurrency mining and cloud computing company, reported a net loss of $50.1 million for the third quarter of 2024. The decrease in revenue was attributed to factors such as the Bitcoin halving and increased global hash rate. Despite the losses, the company's cash and cash equivalents increased to $291.3 million. Bitdeer showcased advancements in its ASICs business, particularly the launch of its second-generation SEALMINER A2 mining machine series. The company also achieved high utilization of its NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD system in Singapore and is exploring expanding its power capacity to meet demand from high-performance computing and artificial intelligence data centers. Bitdeer plans to expand its global infrastructure and increase its self-mining hash rate in the coming year.
