BlockSec, a blockchain security technology firm, has launched a new toolkit called "Phalcon Fork" which provides developers and security researchers with more control over test networks. With Phalcon Fork, users can easily “fork arbitrary (transaction) positions and block numbers” while at the same time being able to retain certain services and states from the Ethereum mainnet. Moreover, Snapshots allow users to save certain blockchain states and revert to them at any point during the testing process. In addition, Fork RPC which is a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) node, can be integrated with multiple development frameworks, and it also provides an integrated faucet for users to acquire free fork network Ether (ETH). This launch has come as a part of a significant month for Ethereum developers, as the anticipated Shapella hard fork was launched on the Ethereum mainnet successfully on April 12 allowing Ethereum validators to withdraw staked ETH from the Beacon Chain. The launch of the Phalcon Fork toolkit has been met with positive price action from Ether (ETH), with the asset gaining approximately 12% since April 12. It is expected that future support for blockchains such as Binance Smart Chain and Arbitrum will be added to the Phalcon Fork toolkit soon. ZK-rollups is also being explored as an endgame for scaling blockchains, as per reports by Polygon Miden, a platform for blockchain scalability.
