AirDAO, a decentralized programmable blockchain platform, is celebrating its fourth anniversary of operations. As a way of thanking its loyal community, the AirDAO team is organizing a large-scale airdrop of 5 million BOND tokens (or AirBonds). The airdrop begins on April 16, 2023, at 12 p.m. (UTC) and will last for 10 days. Participants need to hold a minimum amount of 1,000 AMB tokens and meet specific criteria, which will be announced throughout the 10 day period.

AirDAO was launched during the 2018-2020 Crypto Winter and is a Layer 1 blockchain with smart contracts. Its key goal is to reward passionate community supporters for their contribution over the last four years with BOND tokens, allowing them to benefit from integrations of the AirDAO protocol and its associated products. Participants of the anniversary airdrop will be able to get BOND tokens, which are the core assets of the upcoming AirBond Marketplace. This marketplace will give users the ability to bond either their AMB or so-called AMB liquidity tokens to get assets issued by projects that will partner with AirDAO and tokens of these cryptocurrency projects that will go live as assets on the AirDAO protocol.

AMB tokens can be purchased with Bitcoin (BTC) and U.S. Dollar Tether (USDT) on 11 centralized exchanges, and on KuCoin and HitBTC in pairs with Ethereum (ETH). Additionally, anyone can contribute to AirDAO decentralization and protect its integrity by staking their AMB tokens, with rewards being distributed every six hours and no vesting needed. As such, staking requires minimal technical and blockchain knowledge and can be done through any kind of wallet.

Overall, the fourth anniversary of AirDAO’s blockchain is set to be celebrated in the best way possible, with the goal of not only thanking its long-term supporters and participants but also offering them an even better experience of the project and all its associated products. The success of AirDAO and its protocol shows a successful example of how cryptocurrency focused blockchain projects can still thrive and make a positive impact despite the volatile market conditions.
