Real Vision analyst Jamie Coutts believes that increasing Bitcoin adoption among money managers could drive the cryptocurrency's price above $500,000 before 2030. Coutts suggests that as money managers choose Bitcoin over sovereign debt, it reinforces the trend of currency debasement and could lead to more investment portfolios adding exposure to BTC. He also notes that Bitcoin has performed well during bear markets and serves as an effective hedge against monetary base increases. Coutts estimated that if just 1% of the global bond-market value moved into Bitcoin, its market cap would exceed $3 trillion, resulting in a price of around $185,000. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $67,222.
