Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson explains why venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z Crypto) did not include Cardano in its State of Crypto 2024 report. The report highlighted key metrics and trends in the crypto industry, but Cardano was omitted from the list of top blockchains by developer interest and monthly active crypto addresses. ADA enthusiasts criticized a16z for the exclusion, but Hoskinson suggested that VCs typically focus on projects they have a financial stake in. He also mentioned previous instances of unfair treatment of Cardano by VCs. Despite this, Hoskinson remains confident that Cardano will continue to thrive.
