Game development studio Faraway has announced the creation of its custom Layer 1 blockchain, named FCHAIN, on the Avalanche network. The blockchain is aimed at building a thriving gaming ecosystem for independent publishers and original games from Faraway's library. FCHAIN will offer developers a platform to build, launch, and scale their blockchain-based games with ease, providing shared services such as in-game marketplaces and cross-game interoperability. The platform's ultimate goal is to reduce technical barriers for developers and integrate decentralized elements like in-game assets and tokenomics into gaming models. Faraway's collection of popular games will be seamlessly integrated into FCHAIN, making it a hub for blockchain gaming enthusiasts.
