Swarm Markets and OrdinalsBot have partnered to offer investment in gold bars on the Bitcoin network. This partnership allows for the inscribing of satoshis with unique gold kilobar serial numbers, making them tradeable on Bitcoin's Ordinals protocol. Gold will be the first real-world asset available on OrdinalsBot's marketplace, Trio. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between digital and physical gold investments by utilizing the blockchain as a common infrastructure. This move comes as Bitcoin, often referred to as "digital gold," has seen comparisons to the traditional asset due to its store of value properties.
