Pi Network's mainnet launch is set to happen today, but there are concerns about a potential drop in the price of Pi Coin. Early miners, who got their tokens at little to no cost, may sell off their holdings to lock in profits, leading to an increase in supply and a decrease in demand. This could result in a sharp price decline. The price of Pi token initially rose after the mainnet launch announcement but has since fallen below key support levels and entered the overbought zone. Cryptocurrencies launched through airdrops often experience significant price declines due to an oversupply of tokens hitting the market. Currently, Pi's price has seen a sharp decline to $32, and there is uncertainty about the future price, with a potential further drop to $17. Investors holding Pi could face larger losses if the price continues to decline.
