Here’s Proof Why Bitcoin Could Be Meme Coin, According to Dogecoin Team
The official Twitter account for Dogecoin has responded to an article claiming that Bitcoin is not a meme coin. The article, written by an Assistant Professor of Philosophy, distinguishes Bitcoin as the oldest, most secure, and trustworthy cryptocurrency. It also highlights that Bitcoin has no central authority. The Dogecoin team challenged this view, mentioning how Bitcoiners had laser eyes on their avatars expecting the price to skyrocket. Dogecoin, which is based on the Bitcoin code and launched in 2013, claims to be the original meme cryptocurrency. As of now, Bitcoin's price is $97,820, experiencing a 1% increase since Thursday and a 4.17% increase since Tuesday.
