Howard Winklevoss, father of the famous crypto twins, has donated $4 million in bitcoin to Grove City College, his alma mater. This is the first bitcoin donation the college has received and will be used to fund new business programs. Winklevoss first became interested in bitcoin in 2013 and was influenced by the Austrian school of economics, which also influenced the creation of bitcoin. The donation reflects his belief in bitcoin as a form of sound, non-government money with a fixed supply. The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, also credit their father for getting them into bitcoin, as he had previously studied the principle of sound money at Grove City College. The school of business at the college will be named the 'Winklevoss School of Business' in honor of the donation.
