The World Liberty Financial cryptocurrency platform, which is backed by Donald Trump, struggled to attract investors initially. However, Chinese crypto billionaire Justin Sun has given it a boost by purchasing $30 million worth of WLFI tokens. Sun's purchase was made through a wallet linked to Huobi, a popular crypto exchange. World Liberty Financial aims to provide decentralized borrowing and lending services, with governance managed through the native WLFI token. So far, the project had only sold $21 million worth of tokens before Sun's purchase. The sale proceeds will go to a company controlled by Donald Trump, but profits will only be realized once the proceeds exceed $30 million.
