The Ronin Validator community has announced that it will be adopting Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as the network's canonical cross-chain architecture. This decision comes after a rigorous selection process that involved partners such as Layer Zero and Axelar. The move to Chainlink's CCIP is aimed at increasing the security and accessibility of the Ronin ecosystem. Users will not need to manually migrate their current Ronin tokens, and the migration to CCIP is expected to be completed within two to three months. The Ronin Network has seen strong community involvement, with over 224 million RON tokens staked by 285,083 unique delegates.
