The CEO of SBI Holdings, Yoshitaka Kitao, has urged Ripple to begin preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) once the SEC lawsuit is resolved. The SEC recently filed a notice of appeal in the Ripple case, prolonging the legal battle. However, legal analysts predict that the appeal will be dropped following changes in the agency's leadership. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has previously mentioned that going public is not a priority at the moment, but has not ruled out the possibility in the future. Ripple had initially planned for an IPO in 2020, but the SEC lawsuit disrupted their plans. Currently, Ripple is still in a wait-and-see mode regarding its IPO plans.
