XRP, a cryptocurrency affiliated with Ripple, reached a new peak of $1.26 on the Bitstamp exchange, its highest level since November 2021. The rally was so intense that Binance temporarily halted withdrawals. XRP has gained over 110% in November and has outperformed other major altcoins. The rally was fueled by rumors of SEC Chair Gary Gensler's resignation and expectations of more favorable cryptocurrency regulations. Despite these gains, XRP is still down about 69% from its all-time high. XRP remains one of the worst-performing tokens, while other altcoins like Cardano, Shiba Inu, and Avalanche have also seen significant losses. Ripple co-founder Arthur Britto has started transferring XRP tokens during the rally, with 10 million tokens moving to Binance.
