Sonic, a Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) for gaming, has partnered with Injective, a WASM-based Layer 1 network, to create the first-ever cross-chain Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent platform. The platform, powered by Sonic's HyperGrid technology, aims to unite the ecosystems of Solana and Injective, offering new opportunities for developers and users. The collaboration will launch a Smart Agent Hub that integrates AI agents across the two blockchains using the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC). The Hub provides developers with tools for creating, managing, and monetizing AI agents within a decentralized framework, including agent tokenization and co-ownership. The platform also features an Injective SVM Grid for cross-chain interoperability, a bidirectional bridge for asset transfer, and a unified developer experience. The collaboration includes iAgent, an AI agent SDK developed by Injective, which simplifies the creation of cross-chain AI agents for various applications. The AI agent sector is experiencing significant growth, with projects like Pump(.)fun and Virtuals Protocol generating substantial trading volumes.
