Aligned has launched its ZK verification layer on Ethereum's mainnet beta, allowing developers to verify zero-knowledge proofs at a fraction of the cost. The platform supports leading-proof systems and can process 200 proofs per second at a cost of just 2100 gas per proof. This marks a 10x improvement in throughput and over 90% cost savings compared to Ethereum's native verification capabilities. Aligned aims to continue improving its platform, with a focus on stabilizing the batcher and enhancing the SDK. The network is open source and will expand to onboard more participants in the future. Overall, this launch demonstrates significant progress in scalable blockchain solutions and opens up new possibilities for Ethereum-based applications.
