Binance Labs, a global venture capital arm of the leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has recently announced its commitment to investing in GOMBLE's seed round funding. GOMBLE is a blockchain-based Korean casual game developer and the investment of Binance Labs will give them the financial resources to create and market their first mobile game, RumbyStars.

The core team of GOMBLE, consists of highly experienced professionals in the field of game development and publishing, with extensive expertise in Web2 and Web3. They also have working experience with companies such as Google, Kakao Brain, SK Telecom, and crypto trading platforms. According to the official statement, the core team’s focus on Web3 and balanced tokenomics will make their games more engaging, sociable and sustainable.

GOMBLE has developed a governance token, $CRT, for the tournament prize system. By using the $CRT, players can trade Non-Fungible tokens (NFTs), access tournament passes, and avail in-game goodies. The main emphasis of GOMBLE is to adopt the Web2 gaming model into Web3, by providing value to casual gamers and introducing them to the BNB Chain ecosystem.

The first blockchain game from GOMBLE, RumbyStars, will be released as a mobile game in the Southeast Asian territories in the 2nd quarter of 2023. As it progresses, the game will expand into North America, South America, East Asia and Europe. The game’s trading platform, RumbyWorld, will give a chance to existing NFT and GameFi projects to join RumbyStars as they provide customized NFTs and games.

Binance Labs’ investment in GOMBLE is expected to create innovative blockchain games and increase the popularity of the Binance Chain ecosystem. Moreover, the investment will provide GOMBLE the resources to expand their game into the international market and fuel the game's remarkable longevity. With GOMBLE’s combined use of blockchain technology and innovative gaming experience, the possibilities for the gaming industry are practically limitless.
