XRP Hits 7-Year High Above $3 as Large Holders Accumulate $3.8B of Tokens

XRP, the native token of the XRP Ledger network, reached a six-year high as Bitcoin rallied to $100,000 on the back of optimistic U.S. inflation data. XRP briefly surpassed $3 for the first time since January 2018 before retracing slightly. Currently priced at $2.95, XRP has gained 11% in the past 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin and the CoinDesk 20 Index. XRP has experienced a significant surge following Trump's election victory, with a 488% gain in value. It has reclaimed its position as the third-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, overtaking Tether's USDT stablecoin. The surge is attributed to growing partnerships, the launch of Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD, and speculation about a potential spot XRP ETF. XRP has broken out of its consolidation pattern, with the next leg of its rally potentially pushing it to new all-time highs. Large investors have been accumulating XRP, further fueling the token's rally.
