Tether, the stablecoin firm, has minted another one billion USDT on the Ethereum network, just days after a similar transaction on the Tron network. Tether's total circulation now stands at over $125 billion USDT. The newly minted stablecoins will be held in reserve for future market demands. Tron's revenue in Q3 2024 reached over $577 million, with a majority coming from staking and burning. Tron is the second-largest stablecoin network, accounting for 35% of all stablecoins. The growth in stablecoin market capitalization could positively impact the overall price of digital currencies.
