Kraken survey: 73% of crypto holders plan to reinvest in 2025

According to a survey conducted by Kraken, 55% of Americans believe that crypto assets have real-world uses. Despite some uncertainty about its future outlook, 73% of current crypto holders plan to continue investing in digital assets in 2025. The survey also debunked the myth that crypto is mostly used for criminal activities, with data showing that only 0.34% of crypto-based transactions were linked to illegal acts in 2024. The survey highlighted the importance of crypto education in combating negative attitudes towards crypto, with 53% of respondents attributing negative views to ignorance and a lack of understanding. Gen X, age 45-60, had the highest confidence in crypto, likely influenced by their experiences with economic crises and the rise of crypto. On the other hand, Gen Z, age 18-29, had the least confidence in crypto, suggesting that younger investors are still navigating the complexities and uncertainty of the crypto market.
