A cryptocurrency trader on Solana (SOL) has lost $74,000 in just three minutes due to two poorly executed trades with the $RICH memecoin. The trader deployed 495 SOL in two transactions but ended up with only 169.5 SOL. The memecoin crashed further, causing panic-selling and resulting in losses of 122 SOL tokens. The trader then made a second trade, buying more RICH with 297 SOL, but once again faced a market trap and sold the tokens at a loss of 203.5 SOL. This cautionary tale highlights the risks of letting emotions dominate decision-making in crypto trading and the potential for significant losses.
