Bitcoin's price has retraced since reaching a peak of $66,500, and most altcoins have also corrected. Ripple's native token, however, has soared past $0.62 for the first time since early August. Bitcoin experienced a rally that drove its price to $66,500, but has since dropped to around $66,000. Despite this, it is still up 4% on a weekly scale. Other larger-cap altcoins have also seen minor losses. Dogecoin and XRP have experienced gains, with XRP surging by 6% to trade close to $0.63. The total crypto market cap has decreased by $30 billion and is now below $2.4 trillion.
