A Montenegrin court has approved the extradition of Do Kwon, the founder of Terra, to either the United States or South Korea. Kwon was arrested at Podgorica airport in March for falsifying documents and has already been sentenced by the Montenegrin court to serve a four-month prison sentence before his extradition. He additionally faces charges of fraud in the US, as well as an investigation into the collapse of the TerraUSD in South Korea. In April, co-founder Daniel Shin was charged with capital markets law violations in South Korea, with his assets frozen. Kwon had served his prison sentence and is now waiting for the extradition decision to be made by the justice minister.
