MetaMask recently announced the release of an update to their mobile application, v7.10.0 which is designed to fix a major transaction bug that was affecting some users on different blockchains. This bug prevented transactions from executing as expected and was found in earlier versions of the mobile client. This update is essential for user security against any threats the bug may have caused, as well as for users to be able to complete transactions as intended. Along with this update, MetaMask also has other security measures in place such as a new phishing alert feature which block any malicious websites from stealing user funds. With over 30 million active monthly users and ten million downloads of its mobile app, MetaMask is striving to ensure user safety and security.
