CandleFocus XProtocol’s Ethereum Phone XForge Launching to Take on Solana Seeker

XProtocol, an entertainment-focused Ethereum layer-3 network, has announced the release of an Android-powered smartphone called XForge. The smartphone, priced at $299, will utilize the layer-3 network for earning rewards and participating in airdrops. Initially built on top of Base, a Coinbase-launched layer-2 scaling network on Ethereum, XProtocol plans to migrate to its own layer-1 network for greater autonomy and scalability. XProtocol has also launched a testnet for the layer-3 network, with the mainnet set to launch later this year. The company has already sold over 5,200 nodes and raised a total of $5.2 million in funding.
