Meme coin traders are speculating about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, ahead of the release of an HBO documentary claiming to reveal his identity. Some traders believe that Len Sassaman, an American Cypherpunk who passed away in 2011, is Satoshi Nakamoto. They have created a meme coin called Bitcoin Cat (SASHA) based on Sassaman's cat and it briefly reached a market cap of $25 million before falling to $13 million. Traders are claiming to have insider information about the documentary, and Sassaman's wife has embraced the speculation by accepting meme coin donations related to her cat. She later sold most of the tokens for a profit.
