CandleFocus CleanSpark Restores Bitcoin Mining Operations, Surpassing 28.7 EH/s After Hurricane Helene

Bitcoin mining firm CleanSpark has resumed normal operations at its Southeast Georgia mine following Hurricane Helene. The storm caused damage and reduced the company's hashrate to 10.5 EH/s, but with the help of local utilities, 200 MW of electricity was restored within 24 hours, bringing the hashrate back up to 22 EH/s. CleanSpark's CEO commended the resilience and teamwork of the staff, and confirmed that the company's infrastructure was undamaged. This recovery comes at a critical time for Bitcoin miners, as daily mining revenue has been fluctuating. CleanSpark's rapid recovery will enable it to continue capitalizing on Bitcoin mining revenue, which currently stands at approximately $27 million per day. Despite the challenges posed by the hurricane, CleanSpark's geographically diverse mining sites in other states continued to operate, stabilizing the company's output. The company's preparedness and diversified operations position it as a top Bitcoin miner in the US.
